Allied Joint Force Command (JFC) Naples prepares for, plans and conducts military operations in order to preserve the peace, security and territorial integrity of Alliance member states and freedom of the seas and economic lifelines throughout SACEUR's Area of Responsibility (AOR) and beyond.
 
Twenty-two NATO nations contribute to the JFC Naples military staff in order to deter aggression and to contribute to the effective defense of NATO territory and forces, safeguard freedom of the seas and economic lifelines and to preserve or restore the security of NATO  nations.

JFC Naples team trains Serbian NCOs

The JFC Naples Joint Mobile Training Team (JMTT) recently completed a training mission where they trained 26 NCO’s from a Serbian military police platoon at a Serbian Army base located near Bujanovac from May 13-17, 2013.

NATO deactivates Allied Air Command Izmir

IZMIR, Turkey – NATO’s Allied Air Command formally conducted the ceremonial closure of its headquarters at its base in Izmir, Turkey, Wednesday, 22 May, in advance of its official deactivation date of June 1, 2013.   Admiral Bruce W. Clingan, the commander of Allied Joint Force Command Naples, presided to honor the command’s historic achievements with the outgoing and final Air Command Izmir commander, U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Ralph J. Jodice, II.
