A Change of Command Ceremony was held at Pristina, Kosovo Sep 01 to hand over KFOR Command responsibility to the incoming Commanding Officer, Major General Erhard Buhler of the German Army. Several important dignitaries were present for the ceremony with Speeches given by Mr Fatmir Sejdiu the President of Kosovo , Mr Rudiger Wolf the German Deputy Minister of Defense and Admiral Mark Fitzgerald, Commander Joint Force Command Naples.

Since their mission began in 2007, the Italian Carabinieri have trained 8,296 Iraqi Federal Police, plus, another 530 Iraqi policemen that are, currently, taking part in the 14th Leadership Training Course in Baghdad.
