Leaders participate in SOFA workshop opening

SARAJEVO, Bosnia and Herzegovina -- Gen. Giselle Wilz and Capt. Lars Arne Aulie, NATO HQ Sarajevo commander and deputy commander, respectively, along with the BiH Deputy Minister of Defence, Mr. Sead Jusić, participated in the opening of a SOFA workshop Oct. 10, 2016, in Teslić.

SARAJEVO, Bosnia and Herzegovina -- Gen. Giselle Wilz and Capt. Lars Arne Aulie, NATO HQ Sarajevo commander and deputy commander, respectively, along with the BiH Deputy Minister of Defence, Mr. Sead Jusić, participated in the opening of a SOFA workshop Oct. 10, 2016, in Teslić.

"This is an important workshop on the Partnership for Peace Status of Forces Agreement implementation in Bosnia and Herzegovina," Wilz said. "Implementing the PfP SOFA is a key part of improving your relationship with NATO partners and member states. The work might seem painstaking and technical; however, there is a strategic goal of improving interoperability and demonstrating your reliability as a partner."

The workshop will last until Oct. 14.
